Fawwad Hashmey

Fawwad Hashmey has an extensive work experience in the software development field. Fawwad is currently working at The Yield Technology Solutions as the Global Software Development Manager since September 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Software Development Manager at the same company from August 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining The Yield Technology Solutions, Fawwad worked at Iress as an Engineering Team Lead from August 2019 to August 2021.

Fawwad has also worked at 4mation Technologies as a Scrum Master / Delivery Manager from February 2018 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for running ceremonies, managing team workload, maximizing client support, and ensuring continuous improvement.

In their previous role at 10Pearls, Fawwad held multiple positions including Senior Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master from July 2017 to December 2017, Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master from January 2014 to June 2017, Assistant Agile Project Manager / Junior Scrum Master from July 2012 to December 2013, and Team Lead from January 2011 to June 2012. Their responsibilities included overseeing projects, coaching and mentoring project managers, leading cross-functional teams, and executing software projects.

Fawwad kick-started their career as a Software Developer at Alchemy Technologies from June 2007 to May 2009, where they handled requirement analysis, solution development, troubleshooting, and conducting training sessions.

Fawwad also had an internship experience at e-BizSoft in July 2006, where they gained exposure to the software development field.

Fawwad Hashmey's education history begins with their O Levels at the International School of Studies, which they completed from 1998 to 2001. Fawwad then pursued A Levels in Computer Science at The OASYS School, completing it from 2001 to 2003. Moving forward, Fawwad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from FAST NU Karachi, attending the institution from 2003 to 2007.

Later, Fawwad pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Institute of Business Administration. Fawwad completed their MBA from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Fawwad also acquired several certifications. Fawwad received the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in January 2020. In February 2013, they obtained the Exam 480 certification in Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft. Furthermore, Fawwad became Scrum Fundamentals Certified in March 2019, receiving this certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Lastly, they obtained IELTS certification from the British Council in September 2016.
