Robert Dumbleton

Robert Dumbleton is a Data Science Team Lead at Thematic, a SaaS platform specializing in customer insights through AI and Machine Learning, since October 2017. As the R&D Team Lead for the Data Science Discussion Group Auckland, which has been active since November 2016, Robert also serves as the founder and organiser of the group. Previously, Robert held the position of Data Analyst at Auror from June 2016 to August 2017, focusing on data-driven decision-making and user experience insights. An adventurer, Robert spent two years backpacking across the Americas and participating in a working holiday in Vancouver from July 2014 to June 2016. Earlier experience includes working as a Site Engineer at HEB Construction from November 2011 to July 2014, where responsibilities encompassed quality assurance, quantity surveying, and health and safety management. Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Auckland, obtained between 2008 and 2011.
