Mattias Buelens

Mattias Buelens began their work experience in 2014 with a summer internship at KBC Bank & Verzekering. In 2015, they joined THEOplayer as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Development Team Lead. Since March 2018, they have held the position of Lead Software Architect at THEOplayer.

Mattias Buelens completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering from KU Leuven, starting in 2010 and ending in 2013. Mattias then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering: Computer Science from the same university, which they completed between 2013 and 2015. Prior to their university studies, they attended Sint-Donatusinstituut Merchtem from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on Wetenschappen-Wiskunde (Science-Mathematics), although no specific degree was mentioned.
