Isabel Cohen has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Fashion Design Intern at Magaschoni. In 2012, they continued their internship at Magaschoni in fashion design. In 2013, they worked as a Textile Design Intern at Fyc Apparel Group LLC. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Design Assistant to the Creative Director at Maggy Frances. In 2015, they interned as a Production Intern at Thakoon. In 2016, they worked as a Design and Textile Development Intern at Jason Wu, and concurrently as an Assistant Manager in Fabric R&D at Gap Inc./Banana Republic. From 2018 to 2021, they held roles as a Fabric Associate and later as a Fabric Manager at Veronica Beard. In 2021, they joined Gap as a Fabric R&D member. Currently, Isabel is the Director of Fabric R&D for Mens and Womens at Theory, having held previous positions as Senior Manager and Manager in Fabric R&D for Womens.
Isabel Cohen's education history includes studying Fashion/Apparel Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. Isabel also attended the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Art and Design. Isabel completed their high school education at The Ethical Culture Fieldston School.
