Brenda Garcia-Tscherne has over ten years of work experience in the field of physical therapy. Brenda began their career in 2009 as a Physical Therapist at Crozer Chester Medical Center, where they provided rehabilitation services for patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. During their time there, they also led stroke education sessions and conducted in-service training for therapists.
In 2012, Brenda joined BAYADA Home Health Care as a Field Physical Therapist, where they managed cases for clients with chronic diseases and degenerative disorders. Brenda also educated clients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe home set-up. Brenda later took on the roles of Clinical Associate and Rehabilitation Manager, overseeing a team of therapists and ensuring compliance with training and licensure requirements.
Brenda then worked at Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. as a PRN Staff Therapist, providing therapy services at two CCRC facilities. Brenda was subcontracted through Aegis Therapies before transitioning directly to ACTS Rehabilitation.
From 2018 to 2021, Brenda worked at Health Pro Heritage as a Physical Therapist. Brenda provided therapy services in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient settings, and home care. Brenda completed evaluations, developed treatment plans, and provided patient/caregiver education.
Currently, Brenda serves as the Clinical Director for the U.S. division of THERA-Trainer - medica Medizintechnik. In this role, they provide clinical direction and reports directly to the Head of Exports at the global headquarters in Germany.
Brenda Garcia-Tscherne obtained their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from William & Mary in 2004.
