Lorena Orizaba

Lorena Orizaba is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist currently working for School District U-46 since July 2018 and simultaneously serving as a PRN Speech Language Pathologist at NovaCare Rehabilitation since January 2019. Additionally, Lorena has provided speech-language pathology services at Therapy Care since July 2018. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Clinician at UI Health from March to May 2018 and at School District U-46 from January to March 2018, as well as another Graduate Student Clinician position at NovaCare Rehabilitation from September to December 2017. Lorena's expertise encompasses intervention for a diverse range of disorders such as articulation disorders, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, and feeding disorders, along with routine data recording and reporting from therapy sessions. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Elmhurst University, earned in 2018, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University, completed in 2016.
