Julie Schneiderman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of communications and corporate affairs. Julie currently holds the position of Senior Director, Global Communications & Corporate Affairs at Theratechnologies Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis Gene Therapies as Global Patient Advocacy & Public Affairs.

Julie has a long history with Novartis, where they held various roles including Franchise Communications & Patient Engagement, Gene Therapy & Rare Diseases, Business Partner, Communications & Patient Advocacy, and Manager External Communications. Julie also worked as a Consultant, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement at Self Employed and Head of Communications & Information at CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network.

Julie'searlier experiences include working as a Spokesperson & Advisor at the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences and as a Communications, Public Relations, Stakeholder Consultation Consultant at Self Employed. Julie started their career as a Senior Communications Advisor at Health Canada and also worked as a Federal Communications Coordinator at the same organization.

Julie had previously worked as a Senior Communications Advisor at the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada and as a Public & Media Relations Consultant at Soros Foundation (Open Society Institute).

Julie Schneiderman earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from The University of British Columbia between 1993 and 1997. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Keele University between 1995 and 1996, furthering their knowledge in the field of International Relations.
