Chris Porter

Chris Porter has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Chris currently holds the position of Vice President of Development Strategy and Innovation at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as Principal at Porter Advisory Services. Chris also served as the Global Head of Decentralized Trials at Catalyst Clinical Research, LLC. Chris has held various leadership roles in marketing, digital strategy, and business development at companies such as ERT, SignalPath, and Clinipace Worldwide. Additionally, they have experience in corporate development at Drug Safety Alliance, Inc. and Siebel Systems. Chris began their career in business development at OpenSite Technologies and Pappas Ventures.

Chris Porter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. Chris then went on to complete a Doctor of Law (JD) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university in 1998. In 1998, they also obtained certification as a member of the North Carolina State Bar.
