Kathryn Garside

Kathryn Garside is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biosciences sector, currently serving as Sr. Director of Biosciences, Commercial Operations, US East at Thermo Fisher Scientific since April 2013. Previous roles at Thermo Fisher include Director positions in Corporate eSolutions Business Development and Strategic Relations. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Kathryn worked as an Account Manager at Life Technologies and conducted graduate research at the University of Western Ontario. Kathryn holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Western University and a Bachelor's degree in Honors Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University. Technical expertise includes cell analysis, biochemical analysis, FRET microscopy, and molecular cloning strategies, complemented by a strong background in scientific communication and community outreach.
