Daniel Föhn

Daniel Farrell is an experienced Research Software Engineer at the ADAPT Centre since October 2021, focusing on developing a data collection application and platform that facilitates the analysis of clinical research data across Europe, particularly related to Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Machine Learning Researcher, where a reinforcement learning-based recommender system for educational content was implemented. Daniel has also worked independently as a Freelance Web Developer, creating websites tailored to client needs, and had positions as a Graphic Design Ambassador and Technology Ambassador with the TES - Trinity Entrepreneurial Society. Earlier in Daniel's career, a software development role at Gazeal involved creating customer support automation tools. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, from Trinity College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Galway.
