Jonathan Sutherland

Jonathan Sutherland has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jonathan currently works at theScore as a Staff Developer and Tech Lead, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to that, they were a Staff Developer and Senior Developer at theScore from July 2019 to December 2021. In 2019, they also founded their own company, Proseful.

Before joining theScore, Jonathan worked at theScore, Inc. as a Team Lead and Senior Developer from February 2011 to October 2017. During this time, they specialized in architecting solutions for the sports app, focusing on backend work with Ruby, Rails, Javascript, and React.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as a Software Developer at OverlayTV from December 2009 to September 2010. Jonathan also gained experience as a Voice & Data Network Engineer at Nortel Networks from June 2004 to December 2009.

Jonathan's first experience in the industry was as an intern at IBM's Toronto software lab, where they worked as a z/OS C/C++ Compiler Performance intern from May 2002 to August 2003.
