Andrew Carr

Andrew Carr has a diverse work experience history. Andrew started their career as the Local Committee President at AIESEC Belfast in 2007. Andrew then joined Microsoft Ireland as a Software Development Engineer in 2008. From 2011 to 2012, Andrew worked as a Software Engineer at Asidua. Andrew then moved on to ExamTime, where they served as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2013, focusing on frontend Javascript with a Rails backend. In 2014, Andrew joined ShopKeep as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Freelancer. Andrew Carr's most recent role is with SquareFoot, first serving as the Director of Engineering and Belfast Site Lead from 2018 to 2020, then as the Head of Engineering from 2020 to 2021. Andrew currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at SquareFoot, starting in March 2021.

Andrew Carr obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science including Professional Placement from Queen's University Belfast. Andrew pursued their studies at the university between 2006 and 2011.
