Andrew Agress

Andrew Agress is an experienced editor and writer within the theatre and entertainment industry, currently serving as the Editor for The Theatre Times since September 2019, where responsibilities include crafting reviews, features, and interviews focused on the performing arts in New York. Agress also works as a Staff Writer for The Outerhaven Productions, covering news and reviews related to TV, film, and video games, and has contributed as a Content Manager for Theatr, a show recommendation app. Previous roles include Literary Manager for Columbia University’s International Play Reading Festival, as well as positions at various cultural institutions such as the New-York Historical Society and Chicago History Museum. Agress's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts and History from Brandeis University, complemented by ongoing training at The Second City Training Center.
