Guillermo Cortina

Guillermo Cortina is an experienced finance and investment professional with a diverse background in mentoring, strategic advisory, and investment management. Currently serving as an Expert in Residence and Partner at TheVentureCity, Guillermo focuses on early-stage tech startups and is a member of the Investment Committee. As a Strategic Advisor at NALEJ and an angel investor mentoring various startups since 2014, Guillermo has made significant contributions to ventures with international impact. Previous roles include Managing Director at ABS Capital Company and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where Guillermo executed complex international deals and provided M&A advisory services. Additionally, Guillermo has held board positions at Banco Santander Mexico and Banco Itaú, advising on strategic initiatives, and has extensive experience in corporate strategy and development at Bank of America. Guillermo holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad Catolica Argentina.
