Andreas Schabert

Andreas Schabert has extensive experience in procurement, production management, and coordination within the publishing industry. Currently serving in retirement at Thieme since May 2023, Schabert has held multiple roles at Thieme Group since April 2008, including International Procurement & Supplier Management, International Production Director, and Production Manager. Prior experience includes positions as Production Coordinator at Reader's Digest from 2001 to 2008, Production Editor at Richard Boorberg Verlag from 1999 to 2000, and Production Assistant at the same company from 1997 to 1998. Schabert began a career in printing as a Printer (offset sheetfed) at Staib&Mayer Offset from 1992 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur in Publishing from Stuttgart Media University, completed between 1996 and 1999.
