Dr. Adam Maciak serves as the Senior Vice President of Technology & Solutions at Thieme Group, where responsibilities include leading the transformation of the company into a modern software entity within the German healthcare system. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Palithera, Dr. Maciak focuses on developing MedTech solutions for dementia treatment. Previous roles at Boehringer Ingelheim included Head of IT roles across Digital Health, Translational Medicine, and Epidemiology, overseeing various IT projects and initiatives that supported critical research and development efforts. Dr. Maciak's early career involved software development and project management within medical technology and image processing. Educational achievements include a Diplom in Medical Informatics, a Doctorate in Medicine, and a position as Assistant Professor in Medical Computer Science.
