Trevor Ruben

Trevor Ruben has a diverse professional background starting in 2006 as an intern at Firaxis Games. Trevor then worked as a staff writer for The Diamondback and later as a staff writer for The Munch, University of Maryland Business School Weekly Newsletter. In 2011, Trevor became a reporting intern at Montgomery County Sentinel before becoming self-employed as a Technology and Science Writer from 2011 to 2018.

In 2015, they were appointed as Assistant Director and Tutor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Writing Center. Trevor then worked as a Graduate Student Writing Advisor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2016 to 2017, where they provided assistance to Masters and Ph.D. students with writing projects and workshops.

From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Lab Instructor and Tutor at Howard Community College. Trevor joined HighPoint Global in 2018 as a Content Specialist and worked their way up to Senior Content Specialist until 2021. Trevor then became the Medicare Content Lead until April 2023. Currently, Trevor is working as a Content Manager at Think since April 2023.

Trevor Ruben pursued their education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's degree in Texts, Technology, and Literature. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended the University of Maryland and earned a degree in Journalism, specializing in Print/Online Journalism and Philosophy.
