Aaron Margolese-Malin

Aaron Margolese-Malin is a Deep Learning Engineer at ThinkDeeply since March 2020, specializing in neural networks for image recognition and object detection. Previously, Aaron held the position of Mathematician at Delta Five Systems from July 2018 to May 2019, during which data collection and deep learning pipelines were created. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Securboration, Inc. from September 2013 to May 2015, focusing on all layers of enterprise applications, and as a Research Assistant and Research Tool Programmer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from May 2011 to January 2013, where software for human-computer interaction studies was designed and developed. Aaron earned a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from North Carolina State University between 2017 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2009 to 2011, following an Associate of Science degree from Alamance Community College from 2007 to 2009.
