Roberto Aldera

Roberto Aldera is a Software Engineer at Thinkst Applied Research. Before joining Thinkst Applied Research, Roberto worked at Oxbotica as a Software Engineer, where Roberto held multiple titles in the software engineering field. Prior to their time at Oxbotica, Roberto worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Cape Town, where Roberto completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Roberto also earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Information Engineering from the University of Oxford. During their academic career, Roberto investigated jump stabilization using a dragline in a bio-inspired mobile robot platform as part of their thesis.
