Leah Mandel

Leah Mandel is an experienced editorial contributor with a strong background in music and arts journalism. Currently at Third Bridge Creative since April 2019, Leah writes for the industry insider newsletter Sound Signal, creates press materials for labels, and conducts research for digital service providers. Prior roles include curating playlists and managing community engagement at SoundCloud from April 2019 to December 2022, and serving as a staff writer at The FADER from June 2015 to January 2018, where Leah authored feature articles across various subjects and managed a weekly music column. Additional experience includes positions at Google Play and Songza, alongside internships and editorial roles in both radio and publication settings. Leah holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University and a BA in English from Oberlin College.
