Lars Sundberg

Lars Sundberg is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and risk strategies. Currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Strategy and Chief Portfolio Risk Manager at AP3 - Third Swedish National Pension Fund since January 2016, Lars has previously held key positions at DnB from September 2003 to December 2015, including managing the multistrategihedgefonden Skandia Global Hedge. Earlier roles include Portfolio Manager at SEB, where responsibilities included managing global equities, and Trader and Head at Penser, overseeing trading operations. Lars also led interest rate management at ABB-Investment AB and developed profitable market-making practices at Götabanken. An alumnus of the Stockholm School of Economics and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Lars holds degrees in financial instrument valuation and industrial engineering.
