Julian (Mac) Mason

Julian (Mac) Mason has worked in the tech industry since 2011. Julian (Mac) began their career as a Research Intern at Willow Garage in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Google where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Toyota Research Institute as a Researcher and Manager (Localization and Mapping). Most recently, in 2018, they became a Cofounder of Third Wave Automation.

Julian (Mac) Mason attended Harvey Mudd College from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Julian (Mac) then attended Duke University from 2006 to 2013, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
