Brendon Hill has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brendon began their career in Tokyo as an English Second Language Teacher before transitioning to accounting roles in London. During this time, they also pursued a qualification as a CGMA. In 2006, they joined ACP Magazines as an Associate Publisher and later took on the role of Business Manager. Brendon then moved to Bauer Media Australia as a Publisher, leading the Specialist division and overseeing the launch of new brands and digital platforms. Hill continued to advance within Bauer Media, becoming the Managing Director of Bauer Media NZ and later the Chief Executive Officer of Are Media Pty Ltd. In their most recent position as the Chief Operating Officer at Aura, their focus was on creating a dynamic and personalized digital platform. Throughout their career, Hill demonstrated expertise in media management, revenue growth, innovation, and strategic leadership.
Brendon Hill's education history includes attending the Victoria University of Wellington from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BCA degree in Accounting and a BA degree in History. From 2001 to 2005, they attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and earned a degree as a Chartered Global Management Accountant in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2017, they enrolled in the Institute of Directors (IoD) and is currently pursuing a degree in Corporate Governance through their Company Directors Course.
