Dan Anderson

Dan Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dan currently holds the position of Manager, Data Safety Program at IAG since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Org as the Engagement Lead for Data Risk, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Strategy, and Data Privacy, starting in November 2023.

In their previous roles, Dan held various senior management positions at AMP, including Senior Manager of Information Management, Senior Manager of Prudential Review, and Data Governance Lead for Enterprise Data Services. At AMP, they worked on regulatory reviews, technology risk and resilience, data governance uplift programs, and information management improvement initiatives.

Before AMP, Dan worked at Macquarie Group as the Manager of Data Governance in the Financial Management Group from November 2020 to March 2021. Prior to that, they had a tenure at NAB, where they served as the Manager of the Data and Analytics Guild, Data Governance Consultant, and Data Management Consultant.

Dan also has experience in academic and consulting roles, having worked as a Lead Business Analyst and Business Data Architect at Swinburne University of Technology, and as a Business Data Analyst at Nikpol. Dan has additional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst at GE Capital and an Ebusiness Consultant at Siemens.

Dan's work experience began with an IT Support Assistant role at Aquinas College in 2010, where they worked until 2013.

Dan Anderson attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a focus on Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they have acquired certifications in Global Data Stewardship and What Is Generative AI, both from LinkedIn, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not mentioned.
