Phil Carter

Phil Carter currently serves as the Foundry Group Metallurgist at Newby Foundries since April 2024. With a career spanning over two decades in metallurgical roles, Phil has held significant positions such as Melting Manager and Metallurgist at Thomas Dudley Ltd since March 2010, Manufacturing Manager at the same company, and Metallurgist at Gabriel and Company Ltd from 2008 to 2010. Earlier experience includes metallurgical positions at Coupe Foundry from 2007 to 2008 and SigmaCast from 1999 to 2005, where Phil was Melting Manager and Works Metallurgist. Phil's foundational education was completed at Highfields School between 1978 and 1983.
