Halima Duncan

Halima Duncan is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager at Thomas James Homes since March 2023, following a role as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Prior to this, Halima held the position of Asset Management Team Lead at Roofstock from November 2021 to March 2023. Halima's extensive career includes key roles at Catalina Island Company, where responsibilities ranged from Assistant Director of Finance to Director of Purchasing, as well as experience as a Junior Banquet Sous Chef. Halima has also contributed as a Finance & Development Consultant for various organizations between 2005 and 2012, and held managerial positions at the Sierra Club, Shreveport Regional Arts Council, and Barnard College. Halima's academic background includes a BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology with a focus on Environmental Studies from Columbia University, complemented by earlier studies at Amherst College.
