Lara Chekian

Lara Chekian, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Lara currently holds the position of Vice President of Purchasing at Thomas James Homes, where they have been in this role since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as Director of Purchasing at the same company from March 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Thomas James Homes, Lara worked at Toll Brothers from 2016 to 2019, holding various roles including Purchasing Manager from May 2018 to March 2019, Project Manager from December 2017 to May 2018, and Assistant Project Manager from October 2016 to December 2017.

Lara's earlier experience includes working at Stone Etc Inc as an Operations Manager/Project Manager from July 2013 to October 2016. Lara began their career at Prestige SurfaceWorks as a Production Manager, where they worked from 2003 to 2011.

Throughout their career, Lara has developed a strong skillset in purchasing, project management, and operations management within the construction industry.

Lara Chekian, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Fresno in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the same university in 2009.
