Brian Hickey

Brian Hickey is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism, content creation, and media relations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of News and Media at Thomas Jefferson University since December 2019, Brian has also held the role of Senior Media Relations and Content Specialist. In addition to managing BrianPHickey.com as an owner since 2009, Brian has contributed to various publications, including Philly Voice, where numerous stories gained national attention, and NewsWorks WHYY as Community Editor. Other notable positions include editing for Deadspin.com and serving as a Staff Writer for Metro Philadelphia. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Delaware and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership at Thomas Jefferson University.
