Megan Hawkins

Megan Hawkins has extensive experience in social work and child care, currently serving as a Foster Care Coordinator at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus since September 2021. Prior to this role, Megan worked as a Social Worker at Yancey County DSS and held various positions in educational and community settings, including Floater at Their Kids Preschool and Substitute Teacher within Buncombe County Schools. Past roles further include experiences as a Maintenance worker at FLAT CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH INC and a Mentor at Solstice East RTC. Megan's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Mars Hill University, where tutoring in English and Spanish was also part of the involvement in Student Support Services.
