Michael Flood

Michael Flood has extensive work experience in facilities management and business development. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Thompson Hospitality since April 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Sodexo, including Director of Facilities Management, Vice President of Facilities Operations, District Manager, Director of Business Development, and Director of Facilities Management/Resident District Manager. Before joining Sodexo, they were the Vice President of Facilities & Patron Experience at Woodruff Arts Center. Michael also has experience working as a District Manager at Sodexho and Director of Engineering at Montgomery Hospital. Additionally, they served in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate 2nd Class.

Michael Flood earned their Bachelor of Science in Management from Chestnut Hill College between 1995 and 1999. Michael then pursued further education in the field of architecture, specializing in Building Construction and Facility Management. From 2014 to 2023, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Master of Science degree in Building Construction and Facility Management from the School of Building Construction.
