Jeff Cegan

Jeff Cegan is a seasoned professional in environmental engineering and research, currently serving as a Research Environmental Engineer at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center since February 2016. Located in Concord, MA, Jeff contributes to the Risk and Decision Science Team, focusing on projects related to climate change, water resources engineering, and infrastructure resilience. Prior roles include Senior Facilitator at Thompson Island Outward Bound, Strategic Planner for FEMA Region 1 during the COVID-19 response, Analyst at Abt Associates, and Research Assistant at the Stockholm Environment Institute. Jeff’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College.
