Eugene Siklos

Eugene is the President of Thomvest Asset Management. Previously, he was Head of Investments at Export Development Canada (EDC). During his time there, EDC doubled in size to over C$2 billion in capital committed to its fund and direct investments in the private equity and venture capital segments, while achieving both market returns and mandate objectives.

Prior to that, he was a Managing Partner at Canterbury Park Capital, a Canadian private equity firm that had $170M in committed capital. Earlier in his career, Eugene was for many years an investment banker, mostly at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York.

Eugene has a Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He and his wife live in Toronto with their three children.
