Jonathan Schuman

Jonathan Schuman currently serves as the Head of International at Thornburg Investment Management, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this, Jonathan was a Senior Advisor at Weston Partners, providing expertise in distribution and product strategy as well as international expansion for U.S. financial services firms. Jonathan's extensive experience in the financial sector includes over a decade at Matthews Asia as Global Head of Distribution, where responsibilities included business development and international market expansion. Earlier roles also include Managing Director positions at PineBridge Investments and AIG, focusing on institutional client business and product development in Japan and Asia. Jonathan holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, a Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies, graduating summa cum laude from Williams College.
