Yezdi Wania has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 1984, Yezdi worked as an Auditor for A.F. Ferguson & Co (PwC Pakistan), gaining experience auditing the accounts of various organizations. In 1988, they worked as a Financial Analyst for Pakistan Herald Publications (Pvt) Ltd, where they were responsible for finance, planning, and financial reporting. Yezdi then served as the Chief Accountant for Thermax Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. from 1989 to 1992.
In 1992, Yezdi joined General Tyre And Rubber Company of Pakistan Ltd as an Audit Executive, leading a team to improve internal controls and execute internal audits. From 1995 to 1999, Yezdi worked as a Financial Analyst at IBM, specializing in finance, planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Yezdi continued their career at IBM, taking on various managerial roles. From 1999 to 2003, they served as the MEA Sales Incentives Program Manager, implementing incentive planning tools and sales incentive plans across eight Middle East and Africa countries. Yezdi then became the Customer Fulfillment & Supply Chain Team Leader, overseeing contract audits, order entry, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. Yezdi also held the position of Business Partner Support Operations Manager, leading a team responsible for order entry and validation.
In 2006, Yezdi transitioned to the role of Country Operations Manager at IBM, where they implemented global best practices and managed facility relationships. From 2009 to 2012, Yezdi served as the Growth Operations Leader - Middle East Africa, supporting business operations and cross-functional integration.
Yezdi's next role was at LexisNexis Canada Inc. in 2014, where they directed business positioning, restructuring efforts, and operations. In 2015, they joined Fernhill Associates Inc. as a Senior Project Manager, providing sales operational support, executing client projects, and managing internal controls.
In 2019, Yezdi worked as a Customer Fulfilment Consultant for Virtual Machines Inc., supporting the CEO and improving operational processes. Currently, they are employed as an Order Management and Service Coordinator at Thornhill Medical, where they provide support to the Sales and Service teams, processes customer orders, and ensures customer satisfaction.
Throughout their career, Yezdi has demonstrated a strong ability to manage teams, improve processes, and achieve revenue targets. Yezdi has received recognition for their contributions, including the Outstanding Performance Award and Bravo Award.
Yezdi Wania obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Government College of Commerce and Economics from the years 1980 to 1984. Yezdi then pursued the Intermediate Examination from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 1984 to 1988. In 2017 and 2018, Yezdi attended the University of Toronto to obtain a Certification in Project Management.
