A highly experienced and knowledgeable property Solicitor, Derek is a Partner in our busy Residential Property team in Dundee.

With over 25 years’ experience of buying and selling properties across Scotland, Derek is well respected by clients for his clear and personable approach, and sees many clients returning to him time and time again.

Derek has a particular interest in working with housebuilders and developers, and enjoys seeing development projects through from the early land acquisition and planning stage, right through to buyers moving in.

Derek also advises clients on affordable housing options and acts for high street banks in the constitution of standard securities over both residential and commercial sites.
