Hannah Smethurst

Hannah Smethurst is a solicitor at Thorntons Law LLP since August 2021, previously holding roles as a trainee solicitor and legal assistant at the same firm. Prior to this, Hannah worked as a private tutor from November 2017 to August 2021. Hannah gained valuable experience through various summer and vacation placement positions at leading law firms, including Shepherd and Wedderburn, BTO Solicitors LLP, and Dentons in 2019. Educationally, Hannah holds a Graduate LLB from the University of Edinburgh Law School and an LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law from The University of Edinburgh. Prior education includes a Bachelor's degree in Law from King's College London and high school qualifications in Government and Politics, English Literature, Classical Civilisations, and History from Bury Grammar School Girls.
