Zach Rutz

Zach Rutz is a Senior Manager of InfoSec Assurance at Thoropass since June 2023, previously holding the role of Manager for HITRUST Assurance. Prior to Thoropass, Zach served as an IT Assurance Manager at Crowe from January 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included dual program management for HITRUST and SOC practices, methodology development, and client relationship management. Zach's earlier experience includes a position as Senior Consultant at Baker Tilly US from June 2016 to December 2020, focused on SOC readiness, HITRUST assessments, and internal control design. Zach holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Information Technology & Operations and Supply Chain Management from Marquette University, earned in 2016.
