Wayne Waldecker

Wayne Waldecker is an experienced heavy equipment operator with a diverse background in trucking, crane operation, and demolition. Currently serving as a Race Car Hauler at ThorSport Racing since January 2024, Wayne previously worked as a Crane Operator at Connley Crane Rental and held various positions in equipment operation at North American Dismantling Corporation, Capital Energy, and APM. Wayne’s extensive experience includes operating cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery, with a notable tenure as an Operating Engineer at Local 324 from 2000 to 2019. Additional roles involved house demolition for the city of Detroit and interior strip-out operations. Wayne's educational background includes studies at Airport and Hardcourt.
