Andrew Smith-Thomas is an experienced professional in the field of information technology and operations management. Currently serving as Information Technology Operations Manager and Engineering Programme Manager at Thought Machine since January 2021, Andrew has a robust background with extensive experience from Google, where tenure spanned from February 2006 to December 2020 as a Corporate Operations Engineer. Andrew holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Optoelectronics (Physics) and a Master of Physics (MPhys) in Physics, both from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, completed between 1997 and 2006.
