Dimitar Popov

Dimitar Popov is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Thought Machine since April 2023. Previously, Dimitar served as Head of Infrastructure at Layer from January 2021 to April 2023 and held multiple positions at OakNorth, including Head of Core Engineering, Staff Engineer, Release Manager, Tech Lead, and Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to January 2021. Dimitar began the professional career as an intern at Bromium in 2013. Dimitar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge (2011 - 2016) and a High School diploma from Math High School "Academician Kiril Popov" in Plovdiv (2004 - 2011).
