Charis Cowap

Charis Cowap has been working in the legal field since 2015. Charis started their career by attending an Open Day at Latham & Watkins in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Vacation Scheme Student at both Herbert Smith Freehills and Berwin Leighton Paisner, as well as an Accounts Assistant at Radford Group Ltd. In 2017, Charis worked as a Legal Project Management Paralegal and International Vacation Scheme Student at Herbert Smith Freehills. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Herbert Smith Freehills as an Associate (Corporate) and Trainee Solicitor. In 2021, Charis worked as a Legal Counsel (Secondee) at bp. Charis currently holds the role of Head of Legal Content and Legal Content Specialist at ThoughtRiver, which they started in 2022.

Charis Cowap attended the University of Birmingham from 2013 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law. In 2018, they completed an Accelerated LPC at BPP University. Prior to that, they attended St Benedict's Catholic Upper School from 2008 to 2013.
