Amar Suryanarayana, CSM®, has extensive work experience primarily in the field of testing and validation.

From 2005 to 2006, Amar worked as a Quality Analyst for Accenture Services, where they focused on verifying and validating Oracle databases for clinical data uploads.

From 2006 to 2008, Amar served as a QA Engineer in HCL Technologies, specializing in functional testing, compliance adherence, and report generation.

In 2008, Amar joined Ness Technologies as a Senior QA Engineer and later became a Test Lead for DWH/BI Testing. Amar was responsible for conducting gap analysis, facilitating defect triage meetings, and preparing test strategies and plans.

In 2012, Amar transitioned to IQVIA as a Test Manager for DWH/BI Testing and eventually became a Senior Manager, overseeing independent testing teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and preparing various test-related documents.

Since 2018, Amar has been working at ThoughtSphere, initially as a Senior Test Manager and currently as an Associate Director. Their main responsibilities include managing independent testing teams, coordinating test activities with business representatives, and providing progress updates to stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Amar has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, stakeholder management, and documentation skills in the field of testing and validation.

Amar Suryanarayana, CSM®, received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Amar also holds the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) designation awarded by the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in June 2019. Amar also has a certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) called ISTQB - Foundation, although the specific details of when and where they obtained this certification are not provided.
