Vanessa Towers

Vanessa Towers is a seasoned technology leader at Thoughtworks, currently serving as the VP and North America Head of Technology since September 2012. In this role, Vanessa contributes to the North American leadership team, acting as a conduit between regional and global technology initiatives. Vanessa has also held various significant positions, including Principal Developer Consultant, Lead Developer Consultant, and ThoughtWorks University Trainer, delivering technical leadership and engineering enablement across diverse industries. Prior to Thoughtworks, Vanessa worked at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation as a Senior Software Engineer and at the University of South Australia as an intern. Vanessa holds a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Information and Technology from the University of South Australia.
