Rahanna Bisseret Martinez has a diverse range of work experience. Rahanna worked as a Line Cook at Taverna Banfi, where they prepared and cooked fine dining dishes. During their time at Chez Panisse, they worked as a Prep Cook. Rahanna also gained experience in the culinary field as a Cookbook Author for Penguin Random House. In addition, they worked as a Consulting extern at PwC and as a Client Manager at Cornell Productions, where they handled client communications and managed sound and lighting for events. Rahanna also held roles at Thread Magazine, serving as both a Social Media Director and a Community Director. Currently, they are working as the Marketing Director for the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality and they will soon become a Dean Student Advisor at Cornell University.
Rahanna Bisseret Martinez attended Cornell University from 2022 to 2026, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration/Management/Business. Prior to that, in 2021, they participated in a Summer Session at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Biology. Rahanna also completed a Spring intensive program in Playwriting and Screenwriting at Barnard College in the same year. In 2020, they attended Harvard University's Summer Pre-College Program, specializing in Creative Writing.
