John Ridley has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 with an internship at Young America's Foundation. John then founded their own web design company, Two Brothers Web Design, before joining Vanderbilt University as a student and later as an IT Student Assistant. In 2014, John worked as a Koch Summer Intern at Charles Koch Institute and as a Social Media Manager at Vanderbilt University Office of Trademark Licensing. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Senior SEO Associate at Go Fish Digital. John then joined U.S. News & World Report as an SEO Analyst in 2018 and was promoted to Senior SEO Analyst in 2019. Currently, they are working as an SEO Director at Home Solutions.
John Ridley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government, with minors in Computer Science and Corporate Strategy, from Vanderbilt University. John attended Vanderbilt University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to attending Vanderbilt, they completed their high school education at Northland Preparatory Academy from 2007 to 2012. In addition, John Ridley obtained several certifications, including Google Partners - Mobile Site certification from Google in July 2017, Conductor Searchlight - Legend certification from Conductor, Inc. in 2017, Google Partners - Analytics certification from Google in February 2016, and Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2018.
