Alastair B. has held various positions in the technology industry since 2017. In 2017, they were the Director of Rialto Enterprises, where they invested in high growth technology businesses. In 2019, they became the Director of SeeMeHired.com, a company that provides employers with a complete end to end hiring solution. Alastair also became the Director of Thrive in 2019. In 2017, they were the Director of Locate a Locum, a company that provides healthcare workforce management solutions. In 2022, they became an Investor for Pulse Sales Solutions and AllotMe. In 2020, they became an Investor for Eka Ventures and in 2021 they became an Investor for Green Angel Syndicate and eleXsys Energy, as well as an Investor for Skylark Control Ltd.

Alastair B. began their educational career at Cookstown from 1973 to 1986, followed by a one-year stint at Portadown College studying Computer Studies. Alastair then attended Ulster University from 1986 to 1989, where they studied Computer Science. After a break from formal education, Alastair B. returned to school in 1993 to attend CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and studied Marketing (CIM) until 1995. Alastair then attended Excelus in 2007 and 2008 to study Leadership.
