John Pittman

John Pittman has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. John is currently working as a Lead Engineer at Thrive Market since February 2022.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Outdoorsy from March 2021 to February 2022.

Before that, they served as a Senior Front-end/Full-stack Engineer at Dray Alliance from July 2018 to March 2021. John was part of a small team that built a drayage logistics tech company from scratch. John built all products, including mobile, internal, and customer-facing applications. John also trained and paired programmed with new hires and consistently met high demanding deadlines.

From March 2017 to November 2017, John worked as a Senior Front-end/Full-stack engineer at Altavoz Clinical.

John also has experience as a Front-end Developer at Stream.me from April 2016 to November 2016, where they worked on an isomorphic nodejs/express/React/Flux stack and a nodejs/Go backend.

From April 2015 to November 2015, they worked as a Full-stack Engineer at Fincel Design, where they evaluated and used various front-end frameworks and developed a product feed API for Google Merchant and Amazon MWS storefronts.

John also has experience as a Mobile Engineer (Contract) at Medical Tracking Systems from June 2014 to September 2014 and as a Web Developer at Whiteboard-it from January 2014 to April 2014.

John started their career as a Software Engineer at Dycom Industries from March 2013 to December 2013, where they built a job tracking application and provided production support.

John's earliest role was as a Developer at CSX from March 2010 to March 2012.

John Pittman attended Full Sail University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Game Design and Development. Prior to this, they studied Computer Science at the University of North Florida from 2001 to 2002, although they did not complete a degree.
