Chris Smith

Chris Smith has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Chris started their career as a Sales Team Leader at The Buckle, Inc. in 2005 before becoming an Assistant Retail Sales Manager at Verizon Wireless. In 2009, they transitioned to entrepreneurship and owned Cottage Inn Pizza Corp. for four years. Chris then worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from 2012 to 2014, followed by a role as a Financial Advisor Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chris joined New York Life Insurance Company in 2014 as an Agent and later became a Partner. From 2014 to 2022, Chris was a Financial Services Professional at NYLIFE Securities LLC. Chris then became a Financial Advisor at Eagle Strategies, LLC from 2016 to 2022, where they provided wealth management services. In 2022, Chris joined Innovia Wealth as a Wealth Advisor, specializing in serving private business owners. Currently, they hold the position of Market Director at Thrivent, where they lead a team and helps people achieve financial clarity.

Chris Smith attended Meridian Early College High School from 1999 to 2003. Following high school, they went on to study at Saginaw Valley State University - College of Business and Management from 2003 to 2006. Chris then transferred to the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management and attended from 2006 to 2007.
