Joe Barnes

Joe Barnes possesses extensive experience in financial reporting, operations, and internal controls, having held multiple director-level positions at Thrivent, including Director of Financial Reporting, Operations and Internal Controls, and Director of Financial Reporting and Investment Accounting. Prior experience includes serving as Accounting Manager and Internal Audit Manager at Federated Insurance, as well as working as an Accounting Consultant at Crombie and Schell. Additional roles in sports reporting and umpiring demonstrate a diverse skill set. Joe Barnes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance with an Accounting Emphasis from Bethel University between 1985 and 1989.
