Melvin Daytree

Melvin Daytree is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and design systems. Currently serving as the Design System Lead Engineer at Thrivent, Melvin has previously held roles as a Software Engineer - Invest at Yieldstreet and as AVP, Technical Lead for CareCredit at Synchrony. Additional experience includes positions as IT BLP and Payment Modernization Java Developer, as well as a Front End Web Developer at the University of Connecticut Facilities IT. Melvin began their career as an IT BLP Intern focused on the Data Share Process at Synchrony Financial. Melvin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Connecticut in 2018.
